I woke up about 15 minutes ago; the CW was showing the final episode of Will & Grace so I watched it through to the end. Seems as though it was just yesterday that the series ended but I'd already forgotten what happened.
Then it was time for a snacky-doo. Eating cookies isn't good for my diet but, hey, I was good today!
Mom is awake in the living room watching t.v.
Me: What's going on?
Mom: I can't figure this out. Is it night or day? It's dark out.
Me: I know, it's 1:30 in the morning.
[I savor a Pinwheel cookie, enjoying it in three bites.]Mom: I can't figure this out. [She points at the television.] The t.v. is on.
Me: Yep, they've got programs on all the time nowadays.
Mom: Well I can't figure it out. Is it morning?
Me: Yes, it's 1:30 in the morning.
[I return to my room, and start blogging.]
And so it goes.
