How To Make Something Annoying Even More So

Television: Head On, Apply Directly To The Forehead. Head On, Apply Directly To The Forehead. Head On, Apply Directly To The Forehead.

Mom: What does that mean?

or

Mom: I don't know what they're talking about?

or

Mom: I don't get it?

Every. Time.

Sounds a lot like the frustrations of having young children. I don't look forward to the stage that you're dealing with, but it sounds like you're doing a great job with your mom. She is blessed to have you. D

I get the same question over and over and over and over...
mum seems to get fixated on a particular topic and thats it, and of course goldfish memory means she's forgotton she has asked me.
I am a really patient person, but some days it can be hard to take.

Elanor -- A little more background on this post. Here in the U.S. there is a headache medicine called Head On and you rub it on your forehead. I guess it is a topical analgesic. Anyway, the commercials repeat the tagline three times and it has become somewhat of a national joke about how irritating the ads are. They must have tons of money because the ads seem to be on constantly. In fact, at the end of the latest round of ads, the man says "I can't stand your ads but your product is terrific!" Ugh.

oh geeze, YoY, i am sorry, but having seen that commercial and how naturally irratating it truly is..with your sweet ,frail echo chamber there..it truly does enter the surreal. Apply it directly to the forehead. i don't get it...omg.

its not funny really ,and i question myself for somehow finding myself chuckling in commiseration really - it does give us a peek into your world.

Carry on brother ! And soon u may need some of that swell headache medicine..just to have around to remind you to let it all roll off your back. Its all so ironic. -pictures YoY going to get some Head On. *g* to apply directly...
