Mom was admitted to the hospital after her trip to the emergency room. A seizure has been ruled out, as has a stroke and heart attack. They have held her for observation and have run many more tests. Her heart rate is very low which could have caused the problem, or it could be as simple as dehydration. The doctors don't seem too sure.
I wasn't in the room when the cardiologist came by...he explained things to my brother who was there. But mother told me everything that was important about his visit, "He's so handsome." When I teased her about the affection she was showing, she said, "I almost followed him home!"

I hope your mother will be better soon. She still sounds very alive and alert, since she fancies the doctor! Good luck to the both of you!
