Last week I wrote about how Mom recognized her car in the parking lot.
I went up last Thursday and she spotted the car again.
On Friday, my brother visited. She mentioned me by name that I had visited yesterday and that I had driven her car. She said she considered going out and getting in to drive home but thought better of it.
The information is there in her mind, she just has trouble accessing it.

It's encouraging that your Mom is having these lucid moments, but doubly so that she reasoned that she was better off staying put rather than getting into the car. I hope this means that she's content where she is.
I wish my Mum could remember that I visited the day before.
