I've told y'all that we watch I Love Lucy during dinner. We watch Jeopardy during lunch. I'm quite good at it and mom always smiles at me when I get the correct answer. "You should be on there," she'll say. Except I'd pull a Cindy Brady and stare into the camera in sheer terror.
Today there was an interesting exchange with regards to the show:
Alex Trebek: This river and its tributaries drain most of South America.
Mom: Amazon.
Contestant: What is the Amazon?
Alex: Correct. Select again.
Mom: I said that.
Good for her!
