Mom woke up this morning and called me in with a weak and raspy voice.
Me: "What's the matter?"
Mom: "I'm dying."
Me: "What do you mean? What's wrong?"
Mom: "Something's not right."
Me: "Do you feel sick? Do you hurt?"
Mom: "Yes. My neck hurts when I turn it. I think it's broken."
She had been sleeping with her head on two pillows and basically she had a crick in her neck. I removed the top pillow and she put her head down. Crisis averted!
