It's been kinda quiet around here. Lots of heat, humidity, and rain.
I'm leaving for a five day vacation tomorrow morning. It's nice because I'm not feeling stressed at all. Hopefully I'll have a better time since I'm not leaving while I'm on the verge of a breakdown.
My brother is taking over the home front.

After living in Southern California for 20 years, I returned home to upstate New York to watch over my mother who was suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. My brother and I did everything we could to keep her in familiar surroundings at home and avoid assisted living. We were successful until June 2009, two weeks short of her 80th birthday. These Alzheimer's Moments document her life and the challenges of being a primary caregiver.

By the time I've gotten a break, I've been on that or over that edge as well. I don't go until I'm freaking out.
I need to go long before I feel desparate.
